SMS Consent & Messaging Policy
How demo requesters and clinic staff agree to receive text messages from OptiMed, what those messages contain, and how to stop them at any time by replying STOP.
Effective 19 September 2026
1.What messages are sent, and to whom
AMS Digital LLC, doing business as OptiMed (“OptiMed”), makes software that helps outpatient clinics follow up on missed calls, cancellations, no-shows, waitlists, and recalls. Text messages from our number go to two groups of people, both of whom opted in to hear from us directly:
- People who request a demo on optimedmd.com — scheduling the demo, confirming or rescheduling it, and follow-ups about that request.
- Clinic staff who use the OptiMed application — operational notifications about their own account and worklist, such as a new appointment request that needs attention or a task assigned to them.
This number does not message patients
OptiMed’s own number is used only for the two audiences above. Where a clinic later uses OptiMed to communicate with its patients, that messaging is run for that clinic under the clinic’s own name, consent records, and its own verified messaging registration — governed by section 5 of our privacy policy.
Messages are conversational and informational. No marketing to purchased lists, no promotional blasts, and no third-party content.
2.How you opt in
- On the website. The demo request form on optimedmd.com includes an optional mobile phone field and the consent checkbox shown below — a screenshot of the live form, captured on an untouched page load. The box is empty until the visitor ticks it; ticking it is never required to submit the form, and we record the consent choice with the submission.
- In the application. Clinic staff enable SMS notifications for their own account in their notification settings, providing their mobile number and agreeing to the same terms. Notifications are off until they do.

The consent checkbox is empty until the visitor ticks it
It is never pre-selected, it is not required to submit the form, and the mobile phone field above it is optional. A submission without the tick is stored as no consent, and no message is ever sent to that number.

Consent is stored with a timestamp, applies only to the person who gave it, and can be withdrawn at any time (see the next section). We will not text a number whose owner has not opted in, has opted out, or is on a suppression list — these checks run automatically before any message is sent.
3.Opting out: STOP, START, and HELP
- Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. The opt-out is applied before any other processing, takes effect immediately, and is permanent until reversed.
- Reply START to resume messages after opting out.
- Reply HELP for help, or email ahmadsiddiqui@optimedmd.com.
Text messaging is not a way to reach anyone urgently, and it is never a channel for medical questions. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.
4.Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with your activity — a demo requester might receive a handful of messages around scheduling; a staff user receives notifications according to the settings they chose. Per-recipient frequency limits are enforced in software.
Message and data rates may apply, charged by your mobile carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5.Mobile information is not sold or shared
We do not sell or share mobile information
Mobile phone numbers, SMS consent, and opt-in data are used only to deliver the messages described on this page. No mobile information is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. It is disclosed only to the messaging providers strictly needed to deliver a message, and those providers may not use it for their own purposes.
